INsurance Information

Our insurance coordinators are well versed with a number of different insurance companies.  However, it is important to note that even though we work with these insurances on a daily basis, the dental insurance industry is complicated.  Most dental insurance companies offer different plan levels, each level providing a different tier of benefits for procedures.  Many dental insurance companies and plans, can change benefits and deductibles at varying times throughout the year.  Also, many insurance companies will not give out coverage fees until after the treatment is completed and the dental claim is filed for their review.

Further, many of the services we offer at our practice require review by the dental insurance company and coverage is limited.  Most Dental Insurances will only reimburse for a portion of the procedure(s) that is being completed, up to your yearly maximum.  While pre-estimations can be requested, they are not a guarantee and can often differ from the amount that is actually covered after a procedure is completed.

With that said, it is almost impossible to accurately estimate a patient’s insurance coverage.  Keeping these factors in mind, as a courtesy, we will submit to your dental insurance company on your behalf. (exceptions apply, please see below).  We ask that you please keep us informed of any change to your dental insurance.  It is important that all information about you and your dental insurance is current.

Regardless of the estimated coverage, our practice requires down payments at the time of scheduling an appointment for treatment.  Insurance is a benefit and is not a guarantee of payment.  Our treatment coordinators do their best to give you a good idea of what the coverage may be, but please keep in mind that this is never a guarantee.  Please remember that you are fully responsible for all fees charged that are not covered by your insurance.  See our financial policy for additional details.
